Design Process

Initial Sketch

I started with the thumb of the right hand. I drew my shape then changed its location. Then I made the other four fingers in a similar fashion. This involved translating them into the correct position. Next, I made the palm out of a large rounded rectangle. Afterwards, I spent some time adjusting the size of my shapes so that it looked like a hand. I used rotation on the thumb to make it more realistic. The left hand involved a similar process.

Reflection

The language used by my partner was descriptive enough that I could figure out what they were. I interpreted the image as a pair of black gloves. For the code, I envisioned using a series of rounded rectangles to create the fingers and palm for each hand. I did not have a different interpretation of the description my partner gave. For the gloves I was going to use rounded rectangles and circles but I did not need the circles.
