Exquisite Corpse
Partners: Nick D'Angelo and Yufei Wang
Backstory
I did not receive a background story for either of my partner's sketches. My character was an Apple developer who loves anime and video games. Nick drew a roach and Yufei a kneeling man. My character decided to do some experience during his free time. He worked with a friend on an experiment with a roach. The experience did not go as planned and now my character has merged with the roach and his friend.
Design Process

I looked at each drawing in 1/3rds. I imagined a creature with a humaniod head and neck, a roach body with a tie, and lastly kneeling human legs. I had some difficulty doing the kneeling human legs and rotating my left anteanne so that it reflects the right one. Overall, it was a fun assignment but I felt like drawing the roach body was too repetitive. I asked the DT Study tutors and they said the way I was drawing it was fine.
