Consentful Interface
Description
After looking at F.R.I.E.S, I thought about what online consent means to me and at the same time how other people will interpret online consent. When doing to experimental camera assignment, I found myself a bit weary about letting p5.js use my webcam. So for this assignment, I decided to add a scene asking the user for permission to access their webcam. They can either say yes and proceed to use the filters or say no and another scene appears letting the user know that if they change their mind they can go to the consent main page.

I just realized I forgot to add a consent message before taking a picture. I may go back and add it soon.
Reflection
For fries my project does the following:
- Freely given: the user is not being pressured to do anything. They can decide whether or not they want to use my camera.
- Reversible: if the user decides not to use the came at that moment they have the option to go back to the main menu.
- Informed: The user is aware that the program requires access to their camera before using the filters.
This assignment made me reflect on how I view consent and how I should use it in the future.
